Cafe Darcy is one of my happy places in Margate. The food is always very reasonable in price, cooked well and filling. The staff are welcoming and always happy to help and have a chat. Very well positioned to start your day with a nice cooked breakfast with a number of vegan and vegetarian options available.The photograph shows the pancakes, poached eggs and avocado with bubble and squeak on the side and the top plate of pancakes bacon and scrambled eggs with hash browns on the side.A particular highlight is the way Tracey decorates the place for Pride, Halloween and Christmas.

The staff here were incredibly sweet even while my kids were going loco, down in Acapulco, effortlessly helpful and happy to take my order despite there being a reactor meltdown in the high chair. I deeply appreciated it. Food was also decent.

A lovely meal, curry and bacon and sausage. Lovely young lady serving and helpful as,was a first visit. We will be back . Prices very reasonable

Easygoing cafe with gluten free toasties and jacket potatoes.Edit: came back again today and had another lovely bite to eat. Hash browns and chips are cooked in a separate gf fryer and staff all seem really well informed on allergies.

Proper breakfast made with love, strong wifi if you need it, nice music, incredibly kind staff, great atmosphere! I visited for lunch a year and a half ago, so happy to be back

What a wonderful cafe: Great staff, great food and not at all expensive.Lunch was 'Liver and Bacon with mash, brockley, carrots and the best onion gravy I've ever had'.Will be coming here again and again.

Perfect place for brunch as well as dinners- their whole menu so affordable and the meals we had were delicious! Staff were very friendly and helpful which really makes the difference! Will definitely be going here again next time I'm in margate!
